BUTLINS IS BOOKED!
The dates are Friday 2nd – Monday 5th June. (Anyone who needs to get back for school is welcome to come and leave on the Sunday!)
Accommodation will be cheap and cheerful, in standard rooms. Each ‘room’ actually comprises of 2 bedrooms – 1 double and 1 twin. So every family will be sharing with 1 other family. There won’t be any cooking facilities in your room, just a tea/coffee making area.
We also have one fully accessible chalet for 2 families who have mobility needs. These places have already been allocated to those who need it.
Food is not included in the price, so people can eat at one of the food outlets at Butlins, or go offsite to local pubs, cafes and chippys for meals. Travel is also not included, so come in your own cars. If possible, car share! We do know that there are some families who wish to come but don’t have transport, so if anyone coming can fit 2 more people in their car, that may be hugely appreciated.
The cost includes accommodation, the fairground rides, use of the big leisure pool and all day time and evening entertainments. Stephen Mulhern will be there on the Saturday evening so you may get to meet a celebrity! It really is an amazing bargain!
Anyway, the cost, per person, is just £52.50!!! (It should be a bit more, but NDSSG are subsidising the weekend a bit).
I will create a booking form for those who wish to come. There are 50 places available (25 people with DS and 25 carers). If, however, we find there are more people who want to come, it’s possible for people to book for themselves. There’s still more standard rooms available. We are just not allowed to book for more than 50 people.
