The Nottingham Evening Post and Nottingham Building Society are running a Cash for your Community scheme to give away £35,000 to local community organisations.

Nottinghamshire Down's Syndrome Support Group has been chosen as one of the 300 organisations to receive a share of the £35,000 which is great news!!! Our total prize money will be proportionate to the number of printed coupons we collect from the Nottingham Post - so the more we collect as a group the more money we will get!

On Wednesday May 25th 2011 the full list of organisations will be published in the Post and the coupons that need to be collected will start on this day. The coupons will then be printed every day until June 17th. There will be double, triple and quadruple days, so keep your eyes out for these too!

If you buy the Post, please collect the coupons for the support group please! Also it would be great if you can let as many people as possible know about this through as many ways as possible (family, friends, colleagues, facebook, etc) and if they already buy the Post, ask them to collect the coupons and if they don't buy it, encourage them to, and collect the coupons!

This scheme has come at a really good time for NDSSG as we are running low on finances and so this cash prize, whether big or small, will hopefully boost our resources, and enable us to continue the work of the support group.

For any coupons collected, please send these to the address below by Monday 20th June 2011.
